Job Description:

• Development of instrument embedded software including GUI (Linux based) applying Qt.
• Design and implementation of innovative data processing functionalities.
• Development of special applications (PC based) for industry and national quality control labs.
• Development of applications for networked analytical data exchange.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor or Masters Degree – Preferred in related technical field with minimum 1-3 years experience in Software development.
• Highly experienced in developing professional solutions in a team.
• Having a professional working knowledge of multiple programming languages such as C++ (minimum 3 years), QML, and JavaScript in Qt framework.
• Preferred knowledge in Raspberry Pi.
• Preferred professional experience in MySQL.
• Preferred experience in developing server-side code in PHP will be an advantage.
• Outgoing, results-orientated and a motivated team player.
• Self-organised, communicative and eager to take matters in your own hands.
• Ability to work within a multi-national and multi-disciplinary team.
• Fluent in English and basic German skills would be an added advantage.

Wir suchen regelmäßig Praktikantinnen bzw. Praktikanten, die motiviert sind, in unserem Entwicklungsteam an der Entwicklung von opto-elektronischen Spektroskopie- und Bildverarbeitungssystemen mit KI für die Agri-, Lebensmittel- und Futtermittelindustrie mitzuwirken. Unsere Instrumente/Systeme kommen weltweit in der Qualitätssicherung in Industrie und Labor zum Einsatz. Das Praktikum kann auch mit einer Bachelor- bzw. Masterthesis abgeschlossen werden.

Ihre Aufgaben:

• Eigenständige Bearbeitung kleinerer Aufgabe z.B. im Labor zur Entwicklung neuer Optik, Mechatronik und Elektroniksysteme  oder dem Test neuer Produkterweiterungen
• Bearbeitung kleiner Projekte im Rahmen einer Master- oder Bachelorthesis

Ihr Profil:

• Studium im Bereich Elektrotechnik, Mechatronik, Automatisierungstechnik, Mikroelektronische Systeme oder einer vergleichbaren Studienrichtung
• Erste Erfahrungen mit optischen und elektronischen Systemen
• Selbstständiges und gewissenhaftes Arbeiten
