The Slide Cup is designed for the presentation and analysis of viscous samples where easy cleaning and hygienic handling are especially important. It provides a practical solution for routine NIR analysis and is well suited for applications that require consistent sample preparation and reliable measurement conditions.
The samples are analysed in transflection mode with a fixed path length of 800 µm. The reflective surface is gold-coated and protected by a durable anti-abrasion layer for long service life. For measurement, the sample is applied to the reflector and covered with a microscope slide. Excess sample is displaced into the surrounding groove, creating a homogeneous and bubble-free sample layer. This design supports consistent sample presentation and helps ensure reliable and repeatable NIR analysis results.
