Meat Analysis & Quality Control

Great taste comes with great recipe and great quality.

The SpectraAlyzer MEAT is an ideal solution for routine analysis of key quality parameters during meat processing, sausage manufacturing, and pet food production.

In meat processing applications, the SpectraAlyzer MEAT enables rapid multi-component analysis of key parameters such as water, fat, protein, collagen, and ash content within seconds. This capability allows close monitoring of the production process by analyzing samples from any stage of the production line – without the need for sample preparation, reagents, or other consumables.

The immediate availability of precise quality data supports improved process control, resulting in higher yields and consistently high product quality. Whether evaluating the quality of incoming raw materials, optimizing fat standardization during trimming, or monitoring individual production batches, the SpectraAlyzer MEAT provides instant access to the analytical information required for efficient decision-making.

Suitable for raw meat, cured products, as well as (par)boiled sausage and ham products, the analyzer is validated in accordance with the German Food and Feed Code L 06.00-64 § 64 LFGB (ASU L 08.00-60) and accredited for routine use. This enables intensive process optimization from both technological and economic perspectives.

Animal feed products, including wet pet food with water content up to 85%, protein levels below 2%, or widely varying ash contents, can also be analyzed using the same validated and accredited measurement system.

The robust design of the analyzer allows flexible installation in both laboratory environments and directly within the production process. Temperature fluctuations, humidity, dust, and mechanical shock do not affect measurement accuracy or long-term stability.

Thanks to the integrated web server, analytical values, batch protocols, and trend charts are immediately accessible within the company network and, if desired, can be transferred directly to cloud systems or production servers for further processing and visualization.

In addition, the SpectraAlyzer MEAT is a highly cost-effective analysis solution. The ZEUTEC “Rent Your Lab” initiative offers attractive leasing options that can be tailored to individual requirements.

The SpectraAlyzer MEAT complies with § 64 LFBG

(German Food & Feed ACT)

ASU L 08.00-60 (Determination of the levels of crude protein, water, fat, ash and BEFFE (Collagen free protein) in sausages, meat and meat products, near-infrared spectroscopic Method) and VA KIN CH 012 (Determination of the content of crude protein, crude fat, moisture and crude ash in feed using NIR method).

Both methods have been validated and subsequently accredited by DAKKS, Germany.
